Based on what we understand, here are four basic rules you have to comply with
1. Stay away from “white” carbohydrates
White carbohydrates are the ones that you can get from starchy meals such as potatoes, pasta, flour, sugar, etc. You should avoid any of such ingredients at all cost as they contain lots of calories. Exception only applies within the first 1.5 hours after you have worked out for about 20 minutes covering any exercises grouped under strength training. Even this first rule has madeit clear that it’s not such an easy diet plan to deal with.
2. Stick to the same meal in few portions
Did you know that most successful dieters are those who can strictly comply with the rules and eat the same exact meals served in few portions? Keep changing your food intake will not allow your body to adapt well. Sure, it’s boring you may experience lack of energy but it is highly necessary for your success. By the way, Tim suggest several foods that you can mix and match according to your taste. These are like: egg whites, chicken breast, organic beef, spinach, peas, asparagus, black beans, etc.
3. Avoid calorie beverages
As the white carbohydrates, calorie beverages must be avoided at all cost. In fact, in this diet, it’s recommended that you drink as much water as possible since it helps dissolve your fat. Note that calorie beverages do not only include those with tasty cream on top. Soft drinks with high concentrate of sugar and canned fruit juices also contain high amount of calorie.
4. Have a day off
To keep you motivated and away from being frustrated, you can have one day off where you can switch back to your normal eating habit. In fact, it is recommended that you go wild with your meals. Don’t worry as experts believe it will not ruin your slow-carb diet.
